🔐 Studio Entry Process
We are a private, appointment-only studio.
Our door remains intentionally closed between sessions to ensure each client receives our full attention.
Please arrive a few minutes early and call us at 508.533.1369 before coming up to the door. If you reach our voicemail, leave your name—we’re expecting you and will invite you in as soon as we’re ready.
Your Private Piercing + Jewelry Consult includes a tailored, one-on-one experience with your piercer.
You’ll receive:
✔️ Personalized time and guidance
✔️ Styling, sizing, and placement support
✔️ A walk-through of both gold and titanium jewelry options
✔️ A calm, private session—never rushed, always focused on you
✅ REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION & WHAT TO BRING:
A valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, or state ID)
FOR MINORS: original long-form birth certificate with seal
The adult’s last name must match the one listed on the minor’s birth certificate. If it doesn’t, please bring legal documentation (e.g., marriage certificate, divorce decree, or name change paperwork)
If your child has an ID (school ID, learner’s permit, or passport), we love putting a face to the name—but it’s not mandatory
Legal guardians must bring official custody paperwork and a valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID
Step-parents are welcome to join, but only the legal parent/guardian may sign the release form
Gift Certificates or Visions Bucks must be physically present to redeem
⚠️ Failure to bring proper documentation will result in forfeiture of your piercing retainer. Bummer!
👥 WHO MAY ACCOMPANY YOU:
Adult piercing clients may bring one guest
Minor piercing clients must come alone with a parent or legal guardian only
Only the child receiving the piercing may enter the studio. We kindly ask that siblings and little ones stay home—thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a calm space.
🍽️ BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:
Have something to eat within a couple of hours of your appointment—just don’t come in on an empty stomach
Stay hydrated! It supports your body, focus, and healing
Avoid alcohol the night before
Skip workouts the day of
Wear loose, comfortable clothing
🛑 NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
If you’re planning to swim, play sports or a competitive swimmer, travel, or have a medical procedure within 2-3 weeks of your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your appointment.
You deserve to enjoy your vacation or event without worrying about aftercare or complications.
We want your healing to be as smooth as your appointment.
💰 PAYMENT + JEWELRY DETAILS:
Piercing retainers are not an additional fee and will be applied to your balance
Jewelry is always a separate charge
💎 For reference:
One standard nostril piercing fee starts at $41.60
Implant-grade titanium post (no gem, no ball—just post) starts at $26 each
Titanium ball and faceted gem tops are an additional cost, separate from the post fee
✨ Gold jewelry pricing varies as we carry genuine VS1 ethically sourced diamonds and natural gemstones, set in solid 14k and 18k yellow, white, and rose gold—pricing varies based on the piece you fall in love with
💰 YOUR PIERCING RETAINER
Your non-refundable retainer is applied to your service total at the time of your appointment—it’s not an extra fee. Retainers protect our team’s time and ensure a smooth, respectful experience for everyone in the studio.
⚠️ If your anatomy isn’t a good fit for the piercing and no alternative is chosen, your retainer will be refunded on the spot. You’ll never be charged for a service we don’t believe we can perform safely.
✅ Retainers may be applied toward:
• Piercing services
• Jewelry change-outs (insertion + sterilization)
• Stretching/reopening/consultations (tray fee included)
• Irritated piercing assessments or cleanings (tray fee included)
• Jewelry removal or retirement
❌ FORFEITURE POLICY
Your piercing retainer will be forfeited if:
• The appointment is missed without notice
• Arrival is more than 5 minutes late and we’re unable to accommodate without delaying the next client
• Required documentation is not presented at check-in
• Topical numbing products are used prior to the appointment
• Rescheduling occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice (by phone only)
• Cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice (by phone only)

🕒 HEALING TIME EXPECTATIONS:
Piercings: 3+ months (example: lobes typically require a minimum of 3 months, but all piercings need time to settle properly)
Many cartilage piercings require 6 months or longer to fully heal, even if they appear closed on the surface.
Submerging healing piercings in pools, hot tubs, oceans, water parks, or lakes can delay healing or cause infection. Showering is fine—and encouraged.
💎 JEWELRY STERILIZATION POLICY
As proud members of the Association of Professional Piercers (safepiercing.org), we uphold the highest health standards for your safety.
• For initial piercings, we no longer reprocess posts or rings—even if they were previously purchased from Visions.
• We will only reprocess jewelry tops that were originally purchased through our studio.
• We do not install, reprocess, or sterilize externally threaded jewelry, as it does not meet our studio’s safety standards. This decision is based on health and safety—not exclusivity.
• We do not insert jewelry purchased online or from outside retailers, including other APP studios.
All of our initial piercing jewelry comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee. If a gem ever dislodges, your piece will be repaired or replaced at no cost—just cover shipping. The manufacturer will return it to our studio for your convenience.
